1. Welcome to THECSSAWARDS and please introduce yourself.

I'm a web designer based in Bogotá, Colombia. I'm 28 years old and have been into web design since 1997, when I graduated from high school and began exploring HTML. Since then I have some coding experience so I've been able to put together full projects on my own, using Wordpress mostly. I love typography, color and texture and try to use them the better I can in every project.

2. Are you a self taught designer or have you been to a design school?

I spent 3 years studying Graphic Communication which helped me grow a lot as a professional, but my learning process began much earlier, getting my hands dirty with code and pixels and just playing around, reading a lot and asking if necessary. I think that's the ideal learning method and I still use it everyday.

I'm currently working for 3metas and am involved in several other projects you'll know about later. I also have some personal projects such as modernois.com (which is a music recommendation blog) and gacetilla.org (a reddit clone, focused on colombian political news)
