Kroc: If you actually visited the site – I have to presume you haven’t, and have just looked at the pretty picture above – you’d see that while the site is built using images (surprise, surprise) it is CSS doing the grunt work.

And while the homepage may be heavy on on big bold imagery, the other pages fit into a more traditional layout that shows demonstrates the kind of CSS use that I guess your looking for.

Very vintage, but still fairly clean. Well executed – even the source looks well organized.

The only thing I’d consider doing is pulling back the number of colors to help focus user attention, but not by much.
